Red Bull on video, September 2026
Red Bull had the most short-form video of any wellness and functional drink brand in September 2026 (2,439 videos) and the most reach, but it ranked third of 10 on the Syncly Social Index with 62.2. Most of its biggest videos come from Red Bull's own sports and stunt accounts, and sampled reactions were among the least positive in the panel. Its share of wellness video slipped 2% from August.
Syncly Social Index score
A 0–100 score built from six short-form video signals, relative to brands in the same category.
Red Bull leads two components. Share of voice scored 100, with 33.6% of wellness panel mentions. Reach also scored 100: 10.6% of its videos passed 100k views and 47 passed 1M, far more than any rival. Momentum scored 44.4, as its share of wellness video was nearly flat (down 2%).
The other components hold it back. Sentiment scored 0: only 23% of sampled videos were positive, since most are stunt and sports clips with a neutral tone. Creator breadth scored 55.6 because official Red Bull accounts make up much of the top creator list (the top 10 made 11.1% of videos). Untagged share scored 50, at 10.8%.

Where and who
Red Bull is the most evenly spread brand across platforms: Instagram Reels 38%, TikTok 33% and YouTube Shorts 30%. It is also the most international: two-thirds of videos were in English, with Spanish, German and Portuguese next, and the UK (148), Germany (58) and Austria (35) follow the US (230). Official accounts dominate the top: @redbull alone posted 86 videos, and nine of the top 10 creators are Red Bull accounts. The Drift Masters series account posted 37, which is why #lorealparis and #menexpert appear in the hashtag list. Few TikToks were sponsored (32 of 796), and organic TikToks reached further (14.4% passed 100k).

Untagged and sentiment
Untagged mentions were rare among top videos and came mostly from smaller creators. The most-viewed one is also the most critical: a doctor named Red Bull, Monster and Celsius while warning about energy drinks and the heart (302K, watch). That is his claim; this report does not assess it. Another creator rated Red Bull mocktail mixes (4K, watch). Two of 65 sampled videos were negative, including a pitch for a different kind of energy drink that said Red Bull spikes you for an hour and then drops you (10 views, watch).
