What is NAD+?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every living cell, where it helps turn nutrients into energy. Skincare brands add it to serums, essences and eye creams and market it for firmness and signs of aging. NAD+ is also sold as an oral and IV wellness supplement; topical NAD+ is the beauty-aisle version.
On short-form video, NAD+ is almost never the only active. It shows up next to collagen (14% of NAD+ videos), PDRN (10%), peptides (9%) and EGF (8%), usually in a multi-active K-beauty serum.
