Rhode Pocket Blush on video, September 2026
Rhode Pocket Blush appeared in 1,686 short-form videos in September 2026, and its share of beauty video more than tripled from August. Most of the lift came from Pocket Pearl, a mini shimmer version made with Alexandra Leclerc that clips onto a bag. Creators loved the glow, but the biggest videos were about the keychain falling off.

What videos say about Pocket Blush
About half of the sampled videos (21 of 43) were about the mini Pocket Pearl, not the full-size blush. Rhode's launch post and a Vogue reel with Alexandra Leclerc opened the drop on September 8. PR unboxings followed on September 10, the busiest day with 92 videos, and try-ons peaked again around the September 15 release.
The full-size Pocket Blush showed up mostly as an everyday blush in GRWMs, often by shade name: Toasted Teddy, Sleepy Girl and Teacup. @pinocorinnee used darker shades to contour, and several creators put the mini shimmer shades on their lips too, like @makennaclizer.

What people like
Shimmer and glow were the top praise, mostly for Pocket Pearl. Creators called the formula creamy and blendable, and @theglownarrative found it still on her cheeks after an 11-hour wear test. The tiny size was a selling point for some: @adisonjustis called it the best mini collection she has seen. For the original, @helenacoelhooo said it was her first Rhode product and she still uses it, and @sanando.ando listed it among five things worth the money.

What people complain about
The main complaint was the keychain. @anyaweitz lost her Pocket Pearl on the subway and got a replacement from Rhode (4.2M views). @briannaxrenee retraced her steps to find hers (956K views), and @michelleavilanyc said hers fell off while screwed in and the shade had sold out. Size for the price was the second issue: @theglownarrative paid $16 for 0.08 oz, against 0.18 oz for the original.

Alternatives and dupes
Few dupes came up. Ruby & Millie cream blush sticks were named twice: @shelbyannbell used one in a drugstore look, and @cin_saldivar found them at Marshalls for $6.99 against $25 for Rhode. Inside Rhode, creators compared Pocket Pearl shades with regular ones, such as Monet against Tan Line or Freckle and Monaco against Toasted Teddy.

Where and who
TikTok carried 61% of September videos, Instagram Reels 33% and YouTube Shorts 6%. Only 4% of videos passed 100,000 views, and the 10 most active accounts made 4% of videos, so reach was broad but thin. The top video came from Vogue, and Rhode's own launch post reached 1.2M views. Only one of 43 sampled videos was flagged as sponsored, though several more were PR unboxings. Almost every sampled video named Rhode in the caption or hashtags.

The Syncly Social Index scores brands from 0 to 100 using short-form video on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. It combines six signals: video share of voice (25%), untagged mentions (20%), momentum (15%), sentiment (15%), high-reach videos (15%) and creator breadth (10%). Each signal is scored relative to the other brands in the same category for the month. Sentiment and untagged figures come from a sample of videos; any claim about a specific video links to that video.
