What videos say about Relief Sun
Most videos place Relief Sun at the end of a morning routine. A Hungarian creator uses two pumps before a run in a Notino-sponsored routine. Several creators use it with makeup: as a primer in this sponsored post, and pressed on over a full face of makeup in SPF-over-makeup hack videos.
Many videos are about the Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh (Rice + B5) version rather than the original Rice + Probiotics tube. Creators split them by skin type: the original is described as creamier for dry and normal skin, and Aqua-Fresh as lighter for oily and combination skin, for example in this pharmacist comparison and this travel-day post.

What people like
The most repeated praise is no white cast (9 of 50 sampled videos), followed by a lightweight texture (7) and how well it sits with makeup (6). One creator compares it side by side with a UK sunscreen that leaves a cast. Another calls running out of it a crisis and rebuys the same day. An unsponsored routine says the creator has used Beauty of Joseon sunscreen for three to four years.

What people complain about
Complaints were few. A dermatologist rated it 6/10, calling it thick with a slight cast, below several other Korean sunscreens. One reviewer says it takes time to blend. Another creator says the US version has a different texture and a white cast compared with the Korean one, and a Pakistani reviewer worries about finding authentic stock.

Alternatives and dupes
SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum is the product most often named next to Relief Sun (4 sampled videos). It usually appears as the oily-skin pick while Relief Sun is the normal-to-dry pick, as in this dermatologist de-influencing video. In the dermatologist rating video, Dr. Althea, Celimax, Anua, SKIN1004 and Round Lab all scored higher. Going the other way, a dupe list pitches Relief Sun as the cheaper pick over Tatcha The Silk Sunscreen.

Where and who
Instagram carries most of the volume (64% of September videos), then TikTok (25%) and YouTube Shorts (12%). Reach is spread thin: 1.8% of videos passed 100,000 views, and the top 10 accounts made 6% of videos. In our sample, 17 of 50 videos were sponsored, many from a single Amazon campaign using the same hashtags. Among organic videos, 42% were positive. Most of the rest were neutral routine or haul mentions. Only 16% of sampled videos never named the brand in the caption or tags.

The Syncly Social Index scores brands from 0 to 100 using short-form video on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. It combines six signals: video share of voice (25%), untagged mentions (20%), momentum (15%), sentiment (15%), high-reach videos (15%) and creator breadth (10%). Each signal is scored relative to the other brands in the same category for the month. Sentiment and untagged figures come from a sample of videos; any claim about a specific video links to that video.
