Both are Dyson products, so there is no separate Syncly Social Index score. The Airwrap led on volume (981 vs 140) and on growth, with its share of beauty video up 103% from August vs 22%. It also led on reach (6.3% vs 5.0% of videos over 100K views) and creator breadth, since its top 10 creators made 5.7% of its videos vs 15.7%. Its sample had more positive organic reaction too (42.9% vs 31.0%). Many Supersonic videos are store posts and routine product lists, which read as neutral. The Supersonic had the larger YouTube Shorts share (7.9% vs 2.3%). Its count leaves out videos about the Dyson CameraJet toothbrush, whose ad uses the word "supersonic". Video counts measure attention. They do not test how well a tool works.

When creators compare them
36 of the 40 gave no verdict. onlyonemanassa tested both at a Dyson store. She chose the Airwrap Co-anda 2x for her 4C hair because it has more tools, over the Supersonic, "which was half the price". bobajenny_ has used a Dyson dryer since 2018 and says the new Airwrap "might replace" her Supersonic. ryanthomasmakeup says he loves both his Supersonic Nural and his Airwrap, and he is returning the Airsmooth. kemmystryy says either the Supersonic Nural or r, or the Airwrap Co-anda 2x tension comb, works for a stretched blowout on Type 4 hair. Three tool rankings rate both, by sarahpalmyra (also on Instagram) and carolinemstern. The captions and transcripts we read do not give their verdicts.

Which one to choose
Choose the Airwrap if you want several attachments in one tool, as onlyonemanassa did for 4C hair, or a styling brush that bobajenny_ says could replace her dryer. Choose the Supersonic for a dryer at about half the Airwrap's price (onlyonemanassa), a diffuser for curls (brittminetti, hermela) or a small dryer for travel (daniellaisasifit). For stretched coily hair, kemmystryy names both.
