Fenty Beauty on video, September 2026
Fenty Beauty grew its share of beauty video 79% from August, second only to Rhode, yet ranked last of the top 10 makeup brands on the Syncly Social Index with 25.0. Much of its September attention went to a packaging controversy over Fenty Skin eye patches and to critical takes on its new foundation.
Syncly Social Index score
A 0–100 score built from six short-form video signals, relative to brands in the same category.
Momentum is Fenty Beauty's only strong component, driven by the Pro Filt'r Fluid Flex foundation launch. Everything else sits near the bottom. Only 10.7% of sampled videos mentioned it without a caption tag, the lowest in the panel, and 23% of sampled organic videos were positive.
Reach and breadth are weak too. It had 7.5% of makeup panel mentions with 3,457 videos, 4.8% of them passed 100k views, and its top 10 creators made 3.4% of videos, the second-narrowest base in the panel.
