About Syncly
Brand growth now runs on short-form video. Luxury brands, century-old CPG names, and three-year-old DTC brands are all posting daily and signing creators. Almost none of them can tell you what actually worked: which content moved consumers, which creator’s audience converts, and which one just has reach.
At Syncly, we’re building the AI social intelligence platform for the video era. We show brands what’s breaking out in their category and which content and creators they should bet on to win it.
We’re serial entrepreneurs in video AI who previously built and sold a company for nine figures. We’re backed by Y Combinator, and we work with leading consumer brands including Adobe and Liquid I.V.
The role
You’ll be Syncly’s first Account Executive. Until now, the founders have led sales themselves, and we’re now figuring out how to scale it. You’ll own the full sales cycle with consumer brands, from first outreach to signed contract, and help turn what’s worked for the founders into a repeatable sales motion.
You’ll start with real demand: inbound demo requests and a growing customer base of recognizable brands. You’ll own every stage, from opening new accounts to closing them. Your buyers are marketing, social, brand, and insights leaders, ideally in beauty, CPG, retail, and e-commerce. You’ll work side by side with the founders. We’re a small team, so there’s a lot here for you to own: the deals, the process, and how Syncly shows up in front of customers.
What you’ll do
Own the full cycle: Run discovery, demos, pilots, proposals, negotiation, and close.
Run pilots that convert: Design pilots with clear, co-authored success criteria, and keep them tight.
Build your own pipeline: Prospect into target accounts with your own outbound, and work inbound demo requests.
Shape the playbook: Write the talk tracks, pilot templates, mutual action plans, and collateral the next AEs will use.
Be the voice of the market: Bring objections, competitive positioning, and feature gaps back to the founders and product team.
What we’re looking for
2+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS closing experience with a track record of hitting or beating quota
You’ve sold to marketing teams at consumer brands or agencies (beauty, CPG, retail, e-commerce) or to martech buyers
Strong discovery and demo skills: you can show a CMO what our data means for their brand
Comfortable working with limited structure: you’d rather build the process than follow one
Fluent with a CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce) and modern AI tools
Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate
Bonus points
Background in social listening, influencer/creator platforms, or martech, so you know both the buyer and the competitive landscape
Prior experience as an early or founding sales hire
Existing relationships with marketing, social, or digital leaders at consumer brands
What we offer
Compensation: $150,000–$200,000 OTE (50/50 base/variable), uncapped commission, plus early equity
Real ownership on a small team: you’ll shape how Syncly sells, not just run someone else’s process
Healthcare and dental benefits. Free lunch.
Location: San Francisco (on-site, hybrid negotiable)
